Scanning and Indexing – Provided support in the scanning, indexing, and conversion to electronic media of documents used in the standards development work. Pipe-N-Go Start-up Operational Support – Supported the development of operational documents such as blend plans, operating procedures, inspection procedures, documentation packages, etc. Supported the training of the operational staff on the Pipe-N-Go process. Informatics has competitively bid and won two separate GSA Federal Supply Schedule Multiple Award Schedule contracts. These contracts are multi-year with fixed unit hourly labor rates, and are available for use by all federal agencies and their approved prime contractors. Informatics currently performs services under three distinct GSA Special Item Numbers (SIN) classifications. They are SIN 872, Financial Management Services (FMS), SIN C F899, Environmental Support Services and SIN C R499, management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS).
As a Federal Supply Schedule contractor, Informatics has provided services to the U.S. Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) in the areas of document hierarchy system development, quality assurance and project support for waste management projects under SIN C R499, MOBIS services. We also provided facilitation services to the U.S. Department of Energy, Oak Ridge Operations Office (DOE-ORO) in support of the Environmental Measurements Laboratory (EML) strategic planning retreat under this SIN number.

Projects included Davis-Bacon covered and non-covered constructions projects and were either capital or operating expense funded. The objective of the activity was to provide for project budget, engineering oversight, construction oversight, project documentation, and reporting.
Technical and Program Support for Decontamination and Decommissioning/Closure Project Group – Provided support to the K-H Project Controls and Oversight (PC&O) group in the analysis and tracking of aggregate and individual project performance. Provided an accurate and effective performance tracking and reporting function with the monthly collection and analysis of data into standard reports, charts, and graphs. HAZWRAP – Randolph AFB – Base Wide Background Environmental Site Characterization – Through an IAG between DOE and DOD, supported the USAF AETC in performing a background environmental characterization of the Base. This included participation in the site Kick-Off Meeting, preparation of all regulatory required Plans and Documents (Work Plan, Field Sampling Plan, QA Plan, and ES&H Plan), onsite background soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, analysis of analytical results, and preparation of a final report. This effort also included mobilization and supervision of all field subcontractors and suppliers.
Project Planning, Implementation and Reporting – Provided support for the Nuclear Material and Facility Stabilization (NMFS) Program (EM-60). The program planning and implementation scope included providing environmental engineering technical advice and assistance to the NMFS Program Manager in a program manager support role. Assisted DOE in the research and development of the privatization of the Tower Shielding Reactor at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (X-10) for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) – a binary treatment modality that can selectively irradiate tumor tissue.

Wrote and implemented a uniform DOE wide series of standards in a variety of technical areas. Designed and input data into database format for tracking new and revised DOE standardization documents. Hanford Design Classification and Safety Assessment Support – Informatics assisted Kaiser (prime contractor for engineering and construction at Hanford) in the establishment and operation of a KEH Safety Assessment Group. Our project manager led the team to determine a safety classification system for KEH design efforts and also performed safety analyses on KEH projects.
Integrated Schedule Development and Support Independent Assessment – Provided Hanford site integrated schedule development and implementation support and provided an independent assessment of multi-year program plans and fiscal year work plans and basis of estimate support.
Hanford Interim Operational Safety Requirements for Tank Waste Remediation System – Developed and implemented technical requirements for the Interim Operational Safety Requirements (IOSR)/Operational Safety Requirements (OSR) program. Activities included collection and review of tank farm related safety documentation, development of IOSR technical bases and regulatory acceptance strategy; development and implementation of IOSR plans and procedures; preparation and maintenance of records of decision; and support of periodic status and work meetings.
